Have you looked around lately? Well, I have. I found myself so busy that I am letting the beauty of creation just past by. There is a tree in our neighbor’s yard and the leaves are falling all over the place. It donned on me how that tree changes with the season. It is beautiful and green during the spring. During the fall the leaves become burnt orange and start to fall to the ground as it prepares for the spring. The moon is beautiful—I love to watch it go through the different stages, from a quarter to a full moon. It is so amazing if you just take time and look around you. There is a season for all things, some of us are missing some important seasons.
As we approach the festive seasons ahead, let us remember what the real reason for the seasons are. Let us be thankful not just at Thanksgiving but all year round. Don’t get caught up in spending a lot of money for Christmas, the value is not the gifts. Think on these things.
