GRAPE LEAVES: The wild grapes for which Martha’s Vineyard was named, and cultivated grapes for table or wine (as long as they are unsprayed) can all be used for eating. Most people are familiar with Middle Eastern grape leaves stuffed with lamb and rice, or try them in the Vietnamese way wrapped around finger sized strips of marinated meat or fish and then grilled. Use the younger, lighter green leaves and enjoy their light, lemony flavor.
