His Story …
In this distinctive manner I plead my case. As I turned to walk away, tears streamed down her face. What kind of man would do this to a good woman of faith? A selfish kind … But no, wait. There are a few things I want to say before I’m on my way.
Tears I’ve cried as years of dying inside slipped away. I only tried to give what my mother let slip away. How she to know three children wasn’t enough to make him stay. At least with our one I’m willing to pay.

Hold on, but wait. There is something you forgot to take. No, it’s not the dignity I once set aside to see you graduate. No, its not the lonely nights I shared with our child in the bed that we together never once made. Surely it isn’t the job I now have where I am well paid. Or the MBA I attained while you spent two years of weekends out of town on your escapades.
