Not a Victim, Not a Survivor, but an Over-comer

By: Kelly Fehrenbacher (View Profile)

My abuser is back in my area and is having revival services. I am going to get the opportunity with wise counsel and support to confront him. Maybe he will not stop but just maybe if I use my voice it will not only awaken his soul but just maybe God will use it to set others free.

Please hear my voice ... please hear my cry … you can too be free! And I urge you from whatever situation you come from to please be determined to use your voice! Your voice does make a difference!

Hi Kelly! When I read the title alone I thought of myself. I to am from an abusive background. Yours is a bit diffrent considering it was a pastor. WOW!!! Thank God that you are no longer a victim, you have survived and now you are an overcomer. I feel the word overcomer has a greater meaning. God puts obstacles in all our lives. And what we do with those obstacles are for each one of us to figure out. I to have a voice We all do. Too many people want to hush things up it is embarrassing on the family or themselves. But I say and always will say Speak up!!!! It is like a weight lifted off of ones shoulders to hear it outloud and talk about it. Let more people out there be aware they are not alone. You are wonderful! Thank you for the story.
