Oceans of suffing caused me to drift from the start watching my hopes and dreams be torn apart,
The physical, mental and emotional abuse, I knew without you I would lose.
My heart was hardened and darkened by sin. I wondered somehow if you'd let me in .
As I reached out my empty hand of faith, you filled it with a gift of loving grace.
