Inspired by Spiritual Intimacy III

When quiet moments of meditation call to me, I still my thoughts. In this Holy place all is pure, fresh and new. I step in the stillness leaving behind any past mistakes, letting the future wait. I wait on the Holy Spirit to usher me into His presence.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” —Isaiah 40:31 KJV

I enter into His presence, gently and powerfully. I begin to receive in these precious moments of stillness. Prayers have already been prayed so there’s no need to ask for anything. “I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.” — Psalm 32:5 KJV

My cleansing begins and so does the intimacy with God the Father. I give thanks as I bow down in total submission. It is an honour to be in the presence of God Almighty. Tears of gratefulness flow joyously and with complete surrender.

I am wrapped in a cloak of forgiveness that is always within my reach. He leads me in revelations of prayer.  I’m given instructions, my steps ordered. I see through spiritual eyes. There is clarity, peace and serenity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit restore my soul.  “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.” —Psalm 27:4 (Amplified Bible)

He is Omniscient. He never leaves you to be with me. He is Omnipresent. Like a child calling for her father, I cry out to Him. He is there. He called me friend and is the best friend I have ever had. He is El Shaddai, God Almighty. He is All-That and more! He is!
