Did my life mean nothing to them and my death mean not much more? The one who gave them life, they now came to abhor. They sought to destroy me and to bring my Kingdom to an end. But I live, for on the third day, I rose to life again.
Why can’t they hear what I’ve been trying to say? Instead of coming unto me they continue to fall away. Lovers of themselves and doing as they please. Believing in their own selves, instead of believing in me.
I send down my wrath as a reminder that I am still here. But their hearts they have hardened and they no longer care. Their hearts have become so calloused against what’s right and true. Do you not know my spirit will not always strive with you?
There is a day coming and it’s not so far away. That they will finally see that all they needed was me. But by the time they have realized this, it will be too late.
Why won’t you turn to me before that great and dreadful date? The chance to be forgiven will be no more. You will never have the same chances that you had before. A day of destruction for those who would not heed; To call upon me then, there will be no need. When the mountains begin to crumble and fall to the ground. There will no longer be any peace for you, to be found. So please come to me, while there is still light, for I shall come upon you as a thief in the night.
To find a place of love, like you have never found before. “To be with me forever more.”
But you say; “How can I come after all I’ve said and done?’
I say, ”My grace I will give you, through the blood of my precious Son.”
Is anything too hard for me? I can do all things; do you not know that this is true? Is my arm shortened that it can not save you? I do not wish for any of you to perish and that is my will. Come unto me, all who will seek my face.
