Breaking Free and Flying High

By: Bradley Fowler (View Profile)

Through the darkness of time, you drift along your way, searching for a place to call your own, but so often, you never attain such a place. But if for one moment, you take a deep breath and exhale, you can begin to see the road a little clearer. The clouds that hang carelessly above your head seem to break free, allowing you a vision of hope that you can cling to. Simply because you now know, you can carry on. But how do you attain such strength and hope? How do you overcome the fears of life, after clinging on to the past for so long?

Only by the grace of God. The one presence that you know has been with you through all your life travels. The one entity you know that helps you climb the highest mountain and swim the deepest sea. The one source of energy that empowers you to be the greatest you can be, and guarantee's you...everything will be all right. But still, how do you acquire the faith to trust hold heartedly, in something you have never seen? How can you be assured that the hope of His presence is real? You cannot, you just trust in the faith you have acquired over those years of struggling, and know you couldn't have catapulted to the highest of heights without the power of God. You know, you could not have attained the strength to overcome those obstacles, if you did not have the power of faith to cling on to. Having faith in an entity greater than yourself only requires you believe...everything else is just an illusion. Rest assured, no matter what, you will make it through. Despite the turbulence, harsh times, and moments of emptiness; always know, God will make everything all right. So when you feel you just can't go on another day, close your eyes and vision the clouds that once hung above your head...visually remove them, and you will begin to see the sun shine. Just like God's love shines within your heart. Just believe.
