There is a call going out to all women to “Take A Stand” for your own identity sake.
This is an excerpt from my last book, A Trilogy: The Legacy, The Gospel & Calling and Passionate 4 Life. May you be encouraged to regain, strengthen, or even re-evaluate your own self worth as a women in this world. In our society as it is today the earths view on things is just as the Missouri state slogan says, “Missouri is the show me state.” With fashion trendsetters and designers everywhere today the brand name says alot more versus the non-brand clothes such as Calvin Klein, DKNY, Apple Bottoms, Baby Phat etc, where I wore Wrangler Jeans. Knowing what I know today at age thirty-six, I was just as privileged because there were other girls who did not have as much as I did growing up as a teenager. I can say I never went without the basic materials of life.
Models are walking the runways, showing off the latest styles of the original and also the “faux” styles that resemble the original. Popularity is the “in thang” and to be known builds ones prestige in the community. Identity of knowing one’s make-up, one’s DNA of the fabric of a person’s character according to the worlds standard can only be a fashion show of an outer exterior shell of hype entertainment but what about the inner expression of one’s soul, one’s spirit who has no covering. The world’s covering is only a temporary fame with no eternal benefits.
So many people are walking around with no inward substance but are stacked with layers upon layers of a look the world has defined as a beautiful models physique. Not all people have an outward beauty in size, some are underweight, some are overweight, you will see some who take pride in the way they look naturally as concerns their shape and size but all these things are vanity when it comes to having balance with one's personable inner most being. If a person can come to an understanding that it is not the exterior fabric of things we see that make us a complete woman but it is the substance of which the fabric is made of from within that will tell us of the strength in which the core of the soul abides. A woman who has a proper evaluation of life with proportional importance gives her the advantage over the woman who’s perspective is not with keen insight to the truths of a complete woman.
