I had my first child at the age of fifteen. I tried to finish school but, I would come home everyday after school anxious to see my baby. He looked so happy to be there with my mom and everyday he got closer and closer to her. I was kind of jealous because my mom knew everything about him, like what he liked to eat and his favorite drink.
Anyway, my second child was born at the age of nineteen and again I got left alone this time with two children. Then I tried to go to school to get my cosmetology license but that didn’t work either. I was not comfortable with leaving my children so I could go to school. So, again I quit.
Now I’m twenty-nine with three children and married but, it is still not easy both my husband and I have to work full-time minimum wage jobs because I didn’t finish school.
The moral of my story is … if your young and thinking about starting a family because your lacking that unconditional love, you think that person loves you, or whatever the reason … just think it through fully because not only do you suffer but most importantly another person does who did not ask to be here.
Don’t get me wrong I love my children and if I had to make a change … I wouldn’t I would make all the same decisions. But, it is not meant for everyone and if you can spare a few years … try.
