In fact, I am welcomed and encouraged to shout the melody, to strike the chord regardless of how off key I may sound. I gather at a place I call church. And there I stand amongst those that share my belief in the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace, our Lord and Savior and my voice roars with my love of Him. I am not hesitant to raise my arms in joy, clap in unison to the beat of the song or shed my tears for the joy of the song.
As this joyous season unravels, I encourage all of you to step inside the walls of a church.
Amongst the candles, garland and perhaps a manger scene, you will feel a quiet sense of peace and love and hope unlike no other. And it is at this place where you too can experience the desires of your own heart. I promise you … this is Christmas!
