God Does Allow U-turns

By: Sheri Ables (View Profile)

God does allow u-turns, but what about spinning in circles in the middle of the road? Use his roadmap!

Time and again, we, as Christians, find ourselves in the valley. God has way to get out of the valley and back on the mountain, if we will only follow His roadmap.

No matter what we have done in our lives, God gives us a chance to turn around through repentance and rededication. What happens when we’re trying to make that U-turn and we’re constantly spinning in circles? This is when we are not in His perfect will.

Being in His will is not an instant and constant thing that automatically comes with Christianity. Instead, it is a constant work in progress. Refer, again, to His roadmap.

What is instant is His love and protection. Though we are allowed to endure trials and tribulations, God promises to never leave or forsake us. He loves us more than our human hearts and minds can comprehend.

Taking a closer look at U-turns, I’ve made quite a few in my life (and I am only thirty-eight). But sometimes, I find myself spinning in place. My heart wants to turn around but the flesh is weak. My way seems faster, but in reality “my spinning” gets me nowhere. I am digging myself deeper and deeper into the valley. So, I prayerfully pull out His roadmap.

The Bible holds the answers to anything we can imagine, anything that may ever affect our lives. God is the almighty protector, father, and creator. There is nothing out of His reach.
