We have all seen puzzles. They come in different shapes and sizes. I think our life is like that—one big, giant puzzle. I mean, stop and think about it … the Bible tells us that God knows the beginning of our life and the end. He has it all mapped out for us. So what if he was to cut it up and make a puzzle out of it … but it was our job to put the pieces in the right spots?
Stop and think about it for a minute. We all have puzzles; most of us start with the edges and work out the outside first, then fill in the rest—kind of like life. We are born and we grow. As we grow, we are filling out the edges. Day by day … little by little … God tosses out the pieces and we put them where they belong. Sometimes we put them in the wrong places; he has to pull them out, and we have to start all over …
I wonder what my puzzle will look like when my life is over. Will my puzzle be full of holes or will it be full of life? Will it be colorful or dull? Will it be full of joy or sorrow?
