Have you ever thought of why you have trouble doing something that another person can do easily?
Often we compare ourselves to others; we want things that others have. Don’t spend your time comparing yourself to your neighbors, friends, and coworkers. Stop trying to get the new sprinkler system because your neighbors just purchased one. You may be someone who is terrible in math, but you try to impress someone who is an accountant. Look at your life differently and focus on things that you do best.
Each person has a talent and they were put here to help another person to improve themselves with that talent. So what’s your talent? I would imagine that whatever your talent is, you’re not utilizing it. Having trouble thinking about your talent? Let me rephrase the question; what are you passionate about? Whatever your passion is, this is where you should be spending a lot of your time in life. For example if you can’t get enough of learning about airplanes, you should be in a field that deals with airplanes. If you love being around animals, maybe you should work in a zoo or shelter. If you don’t follow your passion, you will never reach your full potential. People are unsatisfied with their jobs because they are there to collect a check. If you are in the field of your passion, you will never be unsatisfied and it won’t feel like a job.
There is an abundance of things in life. Don’t waist your time being jealous because your neighbor just received a new Mercedes. If you want a Mercedes, there is one out there for you too, but be patient until yours arrives. We often run through life so fast, trying to get things when we feel that we deserve them. As a society, we are so impatient and not allowing for things to line up. Stop financing and using credit cards and let the circumstances line up in your favor. We all have dreams; maybe that dream is to fund your Mercedes. The dream won’t take shape until you take an action to get it started.
Once your passion has been reached, you will never want what another person has.
