What Did This Dream Mean?

By: Jenn (View Profile)

I had a strange dream last night. I dreamt that I was in Paris about to get married to my ex-boyfriend. My whole family was there. It was set in a nice hotel. The things I remember about the dream were: at one point I was going in and out of elevators and up and down stairs to find something. I remember that my brother and his girlfriend had there car either stolen or moved. I remember when it was time to get ready for the wedding I was very nervous. When I was going to my room to get dressed I walked by my ex and didn’t say anything. Once I was in my wedding dressed I walked out of the room were my parents said to make sure he did not see me. I was then running around looking for someone the person that I loved. I was asking everyone if they could find “Chad” (the person in my dream looked like someone I want to high school with). I finally found him and confessed to him that I could not get married because I loved him. We hugged and kissed and were very happy.

What does this mean? I am married and have two kids. What is going on?

I read your story, and I wonder if maybe you feel like you may need more or you may be going in circle about certain issues in your current life. Did something happen that trigger old memories? I know that climbing stairs means to progress in something, so going down stairs must mean the opposite. Do you need to rekindle your love for your husband or are you feeling neglected? I say take some quit time and ask yourself what is going on and listen to your soul. That helps me when I'm very stressed out in my life.
