What Does it Mean?

By: Noe'L Lynn (View Profile)

After nearly three days of straight driving on a quick trip to Florida from South Carolina I had a very lucid dream. I was in a car with my deceased father down a hilly two lane road. We were talking, enjoying the beautiful clear blue skies when all of the sudden out of nowhere a car came barreling toward us. This car literally jump over the car ahead of us crossing into our lane and crashed directly through our windshield. The next thing I said was, “Are we flying?” I did not see any signs of our accident, no blood or car wreckage, no explosions just the sensation of flying. It was quite frightening actually.

I fear this might be some sort of a sign from my father to perhaps slow down my life a bit to spend more time as a family with my husband and soon to graduate high school daughter or the dream may become a reality. I often times sense him telling me how to do things I’ve never done before. Such as repairing a torn plug on a lamp. Just curious about what others feel this dream may represent.

Hi Noe'L, Here's what I feel your dream wants to communicate to you. Quite often your father represents God in a dream. Your traveling down the road on a clear blue day talking with your Heavenly Father there with you. Your car is your life or ministry where God is clearly with you and talking to you. I think the second part of the dream conveys that there is some event or person behind the event on a collision course with you. Although it may be meant to destroy you, it will in fact send your soaring much higher in the things of the spirit (thus the flying). So it may look real bad as it comes to you but don't panic God is in control. Hope this helps a little.
