I hoped the eating expedition would come to a halt once we reached the port in St. John’s, Antigua. Unfortunately it never did. Still, I fantasized about a perfect dream world in which every day was spent sipping fruity tropical cocktails with colorful umbrellas stuck on pineapple wedges, and relaxing under the sun on a secluded beach complete with soft, silvery white sand and iridescent sapphire waves. In the back of my mind, I knew that in reality, my “all you can eat” adventure would continue, on the beach or not, loaded potato skins and all.
