Bright, Bold, Beautiful Dresses for Spring

Bold
With big and bold graphics and artsy abstract prints, dresses are all about show stopping drama this season.

I’m crazy about prints for tops, scarves, and even stationery, so I’m thrilled to add some eye-catching patterns to my dress rotation. I’m also a fanatic of belted dresses, so I have a serious fashion crush on this dress by Classiques Entier. The swirl-print is playful while the belted waist and full pleated skirt is super flattering. Altogether perfect for my bridal lunch engagement and anything next week’s mail throws at my spring/summer calendar.

Diane Von Furstenberg is never one to shy away from bold prints. Her dresses are flattering, feminine, and timeless—yet somehow, always on trend. This chic belted chocolate and white floral print on sleek silk jersey is no exception. The delicate spaghetti straps and off-the-shoulder cap sleeves create a subtly sexy neckline—perfect for my afternoon garden wedding engagement.

Well, hello there! Yes it’s bright (bright henna to be exact) and it’s bold, but this Tracy Reese “kaleidoscope” tie-front soft silk dress is also delicate and feminine too. I’ll wear this to the barn wedding where I won’t know anyone—it’s sure to generate conversation (and also sure to piss the bride off when she sees how much film the photographer dedicates to my bold choice!).

This gave me some great ideas for an upcoming wedding I'm going to. I love Robert Rodriguez, the fabrics and styles he designs are always unique. Thanks for the inspiration!
