Fun and Outrageous Easter Bonnets

By: Brie Cadman (View Profile)

Easter bonnets usually come in two variations: the construction paper, lace, and glue gun type worn by the elementary school set, or the frumpy white and pink ones worn by elderly church ladies. Being in between these two extremes, I figured I was out of luck when it came to finding an age-appropriate hat. But as participants in the New York City Easter Parade show, Easter bonnets can be cool at any age; the bigger, bolder, and brighter the better. These feats of craft, sculpting, and yes, glue guns, turn the traditional bonnet on its head.
