Digging These Derby Hats

At the Kentucky Derby, you can tell where one sits by the art worn on his or her head: wacky hats chug beer in the infield; classy hats sip Mint Juleps in the boxes. I went to the Derby a few years back and the fanciful creations around me made my handmade hat with hot pink boa feathers look like a first grader’s art piece. Next time, I need to put some muscle behind my glue gun to incorporate a winning horse or an infield drunk onto my hat. I just hope my ingenuity will let me sip in the boxes.
