All right, I still really like the “old” me, but it was time for a change. I started making them in December just in case it didn’t work out; then I could correct it and get a second chance at it before the New Year rolled around. Smart eh!
The first thing was my hair. I wanted an update and always wore it long; but face it, as I got older, my hair didn’t grow as pretty now in my 40s as it did in my earlier years. The ends were thin and scraggly, but with a new blunt cut like Posh Spice, I fell in love with myself again. HA!
I just knew I looked good, and because of it, I walked around with so much confidence that almost four out of five people would tell me that my hair looked fantastic; even guys who never looked at me before complimented. I thought men liked long hair is what women are taught to believe. That’s a bunch of BS. “What! Am I blind! I love your hair,” said one man I work with who never noticed me before. With all these compliments I’m on top of the world right now. What better way to start the New Year.
