Who Do You Wish You Looked Like?

By: Jacinta O’Halloran (View Profile)

Drew Barrymore was voted People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman last year. They’re right that she didn’t fall from an ugly tree but I always wonder if the “fairest of us all” agrees with the title, or does she secretly wish she looked like someone else—say Cameron Diaz or Lucy Liu? If you could look like anyone in the whole world who would it be? “I love myself” b.s. be damned—be honest! Be shallow! I wish I looked like Kate Hudson.

I've struggled all my life to look/act/be someone else. Now that I am over 40, I struggle daily just to be the most perfect me that God created me to be. It took 40 years for me to realize that I can be wonderful and amazing just by being me. My wish is that we could create role models for the younger generation that were more realistic and more attainable and just more moral. All that said - I would LOVE to look like Angelina Joline - and be married to Brad Pitt!

With out a doubt in my mind...I want to BE Catherine Zeta Jones! And my husband would agree, but I thought I would like to look like her LONG before I knew he was smitten with her ;) LOL! Demi Moore would be my second selection.
I want to be a "fabulous older woman" (I'm 63) so I guess Helen Mirren would be a good role model. I've always thought of myself as Rosalind Russell in Auntie Mame. I just need a New York penthouse, a Japanese butler and a total body transplant (and a few million dollars).

Catherine Zeta Jones. In a heartbeat. I have always wanted brown hair and brown eyes, and I think she is just the most beautiful woman on earth. Sadly, I am a dishwater blonde on whom "mommy jeans" do not look out of place. Still, I have my moments when I clean up pretty well. But it would definitely be Catherine Zeta Jones.

As a teenager I had many fantasies of looking like famous people but as I got older, those notions disappeared, as I got to thinking that to look like someone else I had to take on the complete person and not just the outter appearance. So based on that assumption I want to look like myself, as I so resemble my mother. I am a very pretty woman, just like my mother was, and I love the qualities my mother passed unto me..humility, kindness, and the ultimate...."always be respectful to everyone you meet, not caring if they're shabby and having no shoes upon their feet". So in actuality I want to look like myself with so much of my mother included.

Old school beauty, I would have to say, any 1920's-1950's pinup girl. They have real bodies, with curves and are just beautiful to me. Ive always wanted to do a pinup style photo shoot, complete with hair, makeup and outfit. New school style, Im going to say Cameron Diaz in the body, and Jessica Alba in the face.

I'd love to look like Demi Moore. How old is she anyway? She hasn't changed for like 20 years.

I always wanted to be the tall, skinny blonde with natural blonde hair & blue eyes. I'm the dishwater blonde with hazel eyes, not short, but not tall, and would love to be "skinny." I'm working on that, well the skinny part anyway. If not a blonde, I'd like to be the attractive, dark exotic type like Catherine Zeta-Jones.

PS: Kate, thanks for reminding us we're all human, even celebrities have off moments. Maybe we are incredibly cool to other people & we just don't realize it.

Old, graying and slightly bald, with a few scars...Hell! My wish came true.
