Hats Off

By: Amanda Coggin (View Profile)

Vain Flapper ($288) is one of my favorites—not just for the shade of purple that pops, but how the leaf form is sculpted into the hat. This draped cloche hat has a double pointed brim and is made of velour fur felt while lined in satin. I imagine myself making quite an entrance—into any situation or room—with this hat.

Zsa Zsa Cloche ($198) is made with Parasisal Straw. The red-violet color shows the detail of the material, almost reminding me of linen. I picture myself in Italy or Spain, chicly shielding the summer sun while I sip my espresso.

Hopefully I’ll be swanning down the street in one of these creations at some point this year. Until then I’ll be wearing them in my dreams. If you want one for yourself, Jasmin takes custom orders through her Web site.
