To My Boss

By: Tessie de la Cruz (View Profile)

I made this poem as a gratitude to my employer. She hired me as a caregiver in her board and care for the elderly eleven years ago. She’s so good to me and I won’t forget her. This poem is for her.

TO MY BOSS

Years gone by and we grow old

Colors fade and weather get cold

But our friendship remain to hold

The love that binds as good as gold.

More than a decade I served my boss

And I don’t have a complain to post

Her good treatment I enjoyed most

Her right approach will give you boost.

I never see my boss scream and yell

Sometimes she’s in a situation like hell

She is always calm and you can tell

Her voice is like a singing bell.

I’m so grateful that I met her

I learn a lot of good things from her

Love and compassion are in her heart

For this we love her so much.

I give my best in my job

To her kindness this is my reward

I’m giving her a recognition award

This is a good thing to look forward.
