Readers did you know after a certain age jobs are hard to come by. Education makes no difference.
I have been job hunting for the past four years to no avail. I am not bad looking, still energetic, and have lots of experience. What is it with these companies that do not hire past a certain age. They do not say it right out, but you know when you walk out the door why you weren’t hired. I was invited to Texas for interview, there was not any mention about age but at the on set of the interview I was told that I was not a “GOOD FIT” for that company. Those of us that have been out of the job market for a few years we need income to survive this economical declining economy. Everything has gone up in price and to apply for a job there is a fee attached somewhere. So, my question is what ups with not hiring people over sixty, I have a BA degree also?
