Offbeat jobs... stuffing envelopes and Alpacas having nothing on the random odd jobs you could get in the 1930's and 40's. I can't wait to let my kids raise giant frogs while dad and I work the road kill into fashionable lamps and ashtrays. Wow! Image source: Vintage Advertising Pool on flickr.

Thank you very much Paula for the update. You are doing a great job keeping these old images alive, and I'll gladly update the article with proper credits.
I'm an admin for the Vintage Advertising group you mention -- I'm glad you like the images, however, flickr has rules about how images must always link back to the ORIGINAL image, and you MUST credit the owner of each image (not just the pool). It is only fair, since it the content belongs to each of them, and they spent the time collecting and scanning their finds. Flickr has a BlogThis feature that does all the work of linking and crediting for you. Thanks. Here are some of the flickr owners: Be an Artist, Giant Frogs - Al Q - http://www.flickr.com/people/alcue/ Be a Magician, Hamsters ad - Mando Maniac - http://www.flickr.com/photos/mando_gal/
