Internet Nightmare Job Scam

Well, cause I am economically impaired as well as greed impaired, I went to the bank, salivating on the checks and hoping they might be good and money would be “coming around the mountain” of my Rocky Mt. Range of poverty and need. So, in spite of logic and reason, I make a deposit to my account. I left, went home and said a greedy prayer and 3 days later funds were there? What? Wow! I immediately withdraw $200.00 pay my electric bill, buy stamps, get a long over due pedicure. All which of course is basic living stuff right? I get an e-mail the next day, where’s my money? Uh oh! Well, I am greedy but, not stupid I took out $400.00 and sent back the rest. However, the bank decides that my sudden knowledge, of an address in Canada and money grams is not quite the usual transaction for this college woman. Also, the I am lying through my teeth, nervousness that accompanied the whole action. Two hours later, the bank calls and asks me to put a stop on money gram, and someone (wonder who) has taken the course of stopping funds on check, wow big surprise (not). The manager wants me to return the money gram money along with whatever else was left. I did exactly that minus the $200.00 we cleared up the account (meaning I can never have one again) and I left the bank.

The phone calls from the scammers, came and I told them that someone had stopped the whole check processing deal, and that I was never interested in what is gnawingly similar to “money laundering” if they wanted the whereabouts of money, ask who put stop on checks, and that if he thought I had the money would I still be at phone number, and address for him to conveniently reach? So the lessons learned were invaluable, 1st momma didn’t raise a fool, 2nd beware of internet job scams, 3rd nothing is ever free, 4 is what kind of character, I possess, more valuable than rubies.
