Dream Catcher

I called the University and told them that I held a High School Diploma from an accredited distance school and told them the name of it and they said that they would accept me. Wow! One step closer. I went on to take the high school test and sent the exam in. I was thrilled to learn that I passed the exam, received my high school diploma and was another step closer to college.

I was starting to see the results of dreaming and how I was doing something about it and was content, as each day was a step closer to making my dream come true. My grandson was 2 weeks old on the day of the interview with the administrator at the University.

My first class was Speech and I was horrified! I had to give different types of speeches in front of the class but as each week passed, I became more comfortable. Not only that, but there were kids straight out of high school and adults my age and older.

Now I am a junior at the University pursuing a Bachelors Degree of Science majoring in Alternative Medicine. My dreams do not stop here; the more dreams I have the more interesting life gets.

I live for the days when I catch up to my dreams and have them fulfilled. Your dreams are as close as you make them to be. It is never too late and you are never too old to start college.
