Turn your family photos into a coloring book.

Photocopy pictures of your family. Your child can color them with crayons or markers. My daughter also likes to cut them and rearrange them in funny ways. A picture with the dog flying through the air over the heads of her cousins? That’s hilarious!

Thanks for these ideas! My 18-month-old son is obsessed with "choo choos" at the moment, and for the price of one round-trip adult MARTA (Atlanta's rail system) ticket ($3.50), we've taken him riding for a VERY long time. He enjoyed that more than he's enjoyed any expensive attractions!

Great ideas thanks!! My kids also love feeding ducks. You just have to remember to save that old bread.

I love these ideas! Watching tree-trimming is pretty fascinating too--my son and I have spent hours watching men dangle from neighbor's trees--and then when the mulcher comes--watch out!
