In July 2005, Allison founded Mom Corps, which now has more than fifty companies using its headhunting services and more than twenty-five hundred workers (mostly moms) in its database. The company has offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, and Washington.
This online magazine—WAHM stands for Work at Home Moms—offers advice for women who want to work at home as well as job listings and a message board where women can share stories. Particularly useful is a section that reveals work-from-home scams currently online. All packaged in a fun, easy-to-read format—there are even cartoons!
