When I was younger, I wondered what I would do with any extra once the mortgage was paid and food was on the table. Now, finally old enough to have that tiny bit extra, I had my answer. I work for the tastes, smells, and sounds of the whole world. I work for soft breezes off the Nile and for the snowy peaks of the Hindu Kush. I work for the blue-green water of Alberta’s Bow River and the smell of rain in the Arizona desert. I work for adventure, to seize everyday. I may never see every corner of the planet, but I can work on it.
