The Bow River Valley in Banff, Canada (springtime). They are able to keep skiing well into May in Alberta. We had pretty good conditions in April this year. It was almost warm enough to sketch outdoors, but not quite. I snuck into the dining room of the Banff Springs Hotel around 3:00 in the afternoon. There is a great view of the valley from these windows. The busboys let me set up on one of the dining tables. I hope no one got into trouble for the paint I spilled.
