If we are capable of creating our own peace from within, if indeed we are interconnected then we should be able to create a better existence for all of us. If we love our neighbor as we love ourselves, if we understand that “we are as we thinketh” then we possess an incredible power to create worldwide love and peace.
Even the most selfish person can help to create peace, and a better and healthier environment. How so? As one wishes the best for oneself, by default one also helps to create the same for others. Of course greed can override good intentions if we decide to think of ourselves as producers instead of creators. So let us produce more positive images through our media and communication systems.
Let’s create a better world for all of us by creating positive affirmations for ourselves and all those around us. We are after all, made of the same stuff. We breathe and bleed the same way. We need nurturing to exist. We all need love to feel fulfilled. Look at your child, grandchild, wife, husband, best friend, parent, grand parent, and if you lack people in your life to serve as inspiration, look at yourself. Observe the beauty of a single leaf. Look for the miracles as Whitman suggests in his poem about miracles. We are all single miracles; we need to connect those miracles and create peace, and all good things. As Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (German writer, scientist wrote, “Each one sees what he carries in his heart” and I believe that we will all see love if we look deeply.
