Affirmative Action

To me, affirmative action has always sounded very big brother-ish and scary, especially because this set of policies and initiatives is rooted in racism and sexism. So how can we combat these two isms by employing them?

I hit the streets to find out what other people think, and I have to say that I found it enlightening. Maybe we do need to enforce diversity for people to embrace it.
