Kuan Yin’s Love and Forgiveness Principle

From this dream, I gleaned it isn’t helpful to have pity upon others. Rather, seeing and acknowledging another’s divinity from one’s place of power, having “compassion for the untruth” helps others realize their own truth. As these are spiritual concepts Kuan Yin teaches, I cannot help but wonder if this had been another dream sent by KuanYin. Throughout my dream experience, I felt as though I was penetrating and sweeping away the layers of illusion that the “not enough,” “better than,” and “survival of the fittest” beliefs can create. It is these beliefs, maintains Kuan Yin, creating the “heaviness” on earth.

Many nonetheless insist that feelings of hatred are justifiable. To the agitated ego perhaps they are. While one’s ego might insist blame and revenge are justifiable, ego isn’t always aware of the entire picture. Just as Galileo proved Earth wasn’t the center of the solar system, ego isn’t the only state of mind.

Imagine ego as an individual sitting on a fence. Perched high upon its precipice, the incredibly perceptive ego comprehends its own conscious mind and the spacious present. Without turning its head however, ego is, to varying degrees, simultaneously aware of all that encompasses its adjoining and limitless subconscious mind. The more the ego allows for the validity of, for example its trance and dream minds, the less isolated and alienated it will feel—the more it can access its limitless perspective.

Indeed, it is through these alternate “minds” that one’s “Authentic Self” or soul can speak its message of love and forgiveness, revealing the true expansiveness of Self. Some might argue they don’t dream or they can’t achieve a trance state. Yet, absolutely everyone, whether conscious of it or not, does or will experience the varying behaviors accompanying the naturally fluctuating rhythms of their own minds. The following quote from The Living Word of Kuan Yin may best explain it:

“Well into my writing on consciousness and the five EEG brainwave frequencies, I was curious to know the spiritual reasons, if any, for humans having five specific ranges corresponding to five complex human behaviors. Inquiring of trance-channel Lena Lees if this is an appropriate time to ask my question, I hear her affirm that my question is welcome.
