Never Lose Sight of Yourself

I search for things deep within
where I am going, where have I been
Have I been so busy listening
That I have been transitioning
—myself for pain
—please not again!!
I need to listen to myself
not put my feelings on a shelf
But to do what is right for me
to bring forth my inner harmony
I can choose most any dream
I can choose most any scheme
I no longer need to hid
But to get in touch with my other side
