I'll admit, I never really was certain about astrology. But then I loved reading The Birthday Book and seeing how many things hit my birthdate spot on. When life took a dramatic turn this last year, I remembered the numerologist I had sat with at a temple in Burma. I figured it was an ancient advisory art form and if the Indians (etc.) were into it, and it had stuck around for so long, something must be right. So I sought out astrology these past months and had my chart read by two different astrologers. One from Sri Lanka who deals in Vedic astrology and another, an Italian, who deals with classic astrology. Both of them were spot on in their readings of my natal chart. They knew aspects of my personality that they would never have known and pinpointed specific events in my life that had just occurred (and also would not have known). I now look at these readings as a guide, which is helpful in reminding me what I need to focus on if I get derailed every so often.
It feels good to write.
