When author Kathleen Flinn called to tell me about her new book about how a woman quits it all to follow her dream to attend The Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris, it gave me an idea. With our Women & Wine sweepstakes giveaway, now you can follow that dream too! Here’s how it happened ...
We realized that there was a great synergy between the book and our audience at Women & Wine who love all things about wine, travel, good food, and living well.
We reached out to our partner, Sofitel Hotels, and decided to create what we are calling our Reading Glasses Events series. It will be an opportunity for members of Women & Wine to come to a reading of Kathleen’s book, The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry, where they could mingle with like-minded women and share a glass of wine and some delicious French food.
Then I called Nora at American Airlines’ new women’s Web site, and asked if they wanted to participate in a sweepstakes and send a lucky member of Women & Wine on a trip for two for a three-night stay at Sofitel in Paris. Of course, the answer was yes.
Kathleen reached out to Cordon Bleu and the package was complete.
