Irish Car Bomb

By: Brie Cadman (View Profile)

I don’t know if they drink Irish Car Bombs in Ireland. I don’t know if ordering one in an Irish bar is appropriate or offensive. I don’t know if mixing whiskey and cream is necessarily a good idea. I do know they taste delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 shot Jameson’s Whiskey
  • 1/2 shot Bailey’s Irish cream
  • 3/4 pint Guinness

Directions:

1.      Pour Bailey’s into bottom of a shot glass and float Jameson’s on top.

2.      Pour half or three quarters of Guinness into a pint glass.

3.      Drop shot into beer and drink immediately. There is no sipping this drink!

Sounds like a winner...though, I don't think any of my distant cousins in the IRA would be caught, dead or alive, drinking this concoction (cut out the cream, turn it into a Boilermaker, then maybe). It's a Mick thang, ya' know!
