A different twist to an old classic ... sometimes the simplest culinary pleasures are the most savory.

Fresh Fruit Cocktail

One large whole pineapple (peeled, cored, and cubed)

Two ripe papayas (peeled and cubed)

Two ripe mangoes (peeled and cubed)

Three ripe peaches (peeled, seeded, and cubed)

Four ripe plums (skinned, seeded, and cubed)

1 pint fresh and firm raspberries (rinsed)

1 pint fresh and firm blackberries (rinsed)

Four Clementine tangerines (peeled and divided in natural sections)

1 cup seedless green grapes (rinsed)

1 cup seedless red grapes (rinsed)

Three firm bananas (peeled and sliced round)

1 cup shredded coconut flakes

2 cups pineapple juice (Dole’s brand)

2 cups orange juice (Minute Maid brand)

One large mixing bowl

Procedure:

In mixing bowl, combine all above said ingredients, as in said procedure style, and cover, chill and marinate for six hours in said refrigeration unit. Simple, Uhh! Pig out, eatin’ healthy!
