- There is no such thing as a “simple” remodel.
- Every detail of any projects of this nature should involve communication, confirmation of communications, and documentation. I don’t care if it’s is a “favor” for a friend!
- That voice in my head shouting “Hell, NO!” deserved respect.
- Never, ever, EVER (I can’t type enough “evers”) set up a friend with a family member for a “favor.”
- Ever.

very funny. true that.
this is so true, it reminds me of the time a friend of mine painted my Mom's house for her. big BIG mistake. after she added on 20 more things that didn't even include painting my friend was tired angry and hurt. she never offered more beyond his quote. it was just expected of my friend. NEVER EVER is right!
