I read that the Supreme Court upheld Indiana’s voter ID law, which requires that voters carry a photo ID when voting. The Court concluded that the challengers had not successfully proven that the law’s photo ID requirement had made it difficult on a voter’s right to vote. Those opposed to the law feel it is unfair to voters—and keeps voters away from the polls. Do you believe in increased ID requirements for voters or are you opposed?

It eliminates stuffing the box. Believe me when I say this, the good ol' boy politics still exists in the South. Every state should institute such a requirement ... one person, one vote!
I am utterly mind boggled by the resistance to the photo ID requirement. For goodness sake, we show our IDs (hopefully, that is) when we use our credit cards at the mall! It just supports the perception that Americans take voting so lightly here in this country. It is a hard won luxury, and a citizen's responsibility, as far as I'm concerned. With all the worries we've had to deal with over vote counts, and all the rest, why not mandate ways to secure the process? I say the more we do to tighten up voting, the better off we'll be.
I think any additional requirements whatsoever make it more difficult to get people to actually vote. I'm opposed.
