Sometimes I think network executives are trying to get me to watch less television. They cancel some of the best shows in TV history (RIP Arrested Development) and replace them with a million new variations of finding America’s next superstar. (How many of the winners have actually become famous for longer than a minute, by the way?) If you could bring a cancelled TV show back from the dead, which one would it be?
I always have a show I love brutally cancelled. Short list - Firefly, Haunted, John Doe, and Angel. There are more though.

I loved Studio 60! Not many people have seen it, but if you watched the few episodes it had, you probably love it as much as I do. That show didn't recieve the credit it deserved.

Right off the top of my head,I'd have to say" Friends". Mainly because they seemed to be as messed up as the rest of us. They had the ability to make me cry, or better yet, to laugh which is needed more these days of fast rising prices and wondering how to make ends meet with less money.

I loved Rome on HBO. This production was so grand, the costuming, the sets, and histrocially so interesting. It is such a stark contrast to this reality crap that requires no writing,no talent, and is cheap to produce.

I would like to see FARSCAPE come back.
First of all, How I Met Your Mother is one of my favorite shows and it would appear this season will be its last. Hopefully the network at least does its faithful viewers the favor of telling the story of how Ted met his wife. I also have to agree that Arrested Development is one of the funniest and most under-watched television shows of all times. What a shame.

I second the vote for "Joan of Arcadia"! My husband and I faithfully watched that every Friday night. We even went to the website to find out the names of the songs each week, and bought CD's based on those artists featured on the show.
Also loved "Freaks and Geeks".
