They Deserve Each Other

Is anyone else as annoyed by the Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook divorce as I am? The trial just started yesterday, but I’m already sick of it. It was all over the news this morning—local and national.

Really? This is news? Why is she even famous anymore?

My biggest problem with all of this is that I really believe CB is dragging all of this out into the public to embarrass PC. Now, I know being a woman, I should be on Christie’s side. He cheated on her and was apparently not so nice to her kids and that does suck.

But God forbid she handles this with a modicum of grace. Nope. She has to drag him through the mud, in public, and play herself off as the poor little victim.

(I hate women who do that. They make the rest of us look bad.)

The real victims in this are the kids. They may be a little young to totally understand what’s going on but someday they will and all of this will be public record. Oh yea! Who wouldn’t want to read about their parents’ need for porn in order to get it on? Lucky, lucky kids!

The other thing that is driving me crazy is what a bad actress Christie is. She’s totally playing the martyr and she kind of sucks at it. (As an actor myself, I feel like I can usually spot insincerity and bad acting a mile away.)
