True change to me means...no more war...no more hate...no more hunger...no more greed...no more prejudice!

polititians are always talking about change. they never change anything. it's a ploy to get votes and people go for it. republicans are against democrats and via versa no matter what. change means they will change their minds about what they promised to change.

I think change means having our politicians work for the good of the many and not putting corporate or ideological interests above the health and welfare of our nation. I'd like to see universal healthcare, a serious step towards reducing greenhouse emissions, a focus on preventing disease rather than treating it, and politicians who will play partisan.

A president elect can want to do a lot to make things better. The problem is he can only do so much. Congress has to pass on the things he wants done and too often they don't agree with his ideas. My wife and I SS disability. We have so much taken out of our checks for medicare we barely have enough left for the payments we need to make. How bout more coverage.

Change to me means having for once in my lifetime a candidate that once become President sticks to his or her word. And having the below that Monique highlighted would definitely be included in that.
Change means making a difference to homeowners who are suffering from the sub-prime loan fiasco; making a difference to students who don't have access to safe schools or quality education; making a difference to families who can't afford care--whether it be for their children or their aging boomer parents or grandparents; making it possible to support sustainable living within our communities and nationally; making a difference in how we participate in the global economy, marketplace, and society. Change means making a difference in not just having our voices heard, but also validated.

God, please, please, please let us find a way to have universal healthcare SOON. And take real steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. And get the hell out of Iraq.
