I know I just wrote about nail polish recently (and as an update, my obsession with Butter London continues—I bought FOUR shades last weekend because I couldn’t pass up any of them), but this news is so exciting, I just had to write about polish again this week. Drumroll please … nails inc. is now being sold at Sephora!
I know it’s hard to control yourself because I’m having the same problem. I’ve loved this brand for so long, ever since a trip I took to London years ago and discovered its fabulous products. At the time, I was young and naïve, and it didn’t occur to me that I wouldn’t be able to get them once I got back home to the United States, so I stupidly only bought two bottles. I’ve been regretting that decision ever since, so I’m delighted to finally have a place to purchase them without having to board a plane.
There are so many great things about nails inc., but to start off with, I absolutely adore the formula. I remembered it as being really great, and it’s stayed just as fantastic as I had hoped it had. It’s the perfect texture (not too thick, not too thin), it dries quickly, and it has great staying power. My nails tend to chip a lot because I type all day and they take a pounding, but nails inc. stays on and looks great for at least a week or more. (For me, that’s a long time.)
The other great thing about the brand is the polish colors. There are so many fantastic choices—I guarantee you won’t be able to pick just one. There are classic shades like Tate, a deep garnet, and The Thames, a dark cement gray, but there are also fun shades like Buckingham Street, a clear polish with chunky magenta glitter. I’m dying to see Foubert’s Place in person because online it’s a fabulous olive shade that looks like it might be the one to break my longstanding aversion to green nail polish. nails inc. also has the ever-popular crackle top coats, which are always fun to play around with, and a few special Crystal Colour shades, which are four of the trend shades for the season that come in special packaging with crystal-encrusted caps. (They’d make a really fun hostess gift, if you’re sick of giving wine or candy).
nails inc. is online now at Sephora.com, and you can also find it in stores at select Sephora locations. (Just call ahead first and check so you’re not disappointed if your store isn’t one of the ones that carry it). Thanks, London!
