After recently revealing which hair ties are my favorite here on DivineCaroline, I realized using a bungee isn't as self explanatory as I thought it was. Today I'll be showing you a quick step by step picture tutorial on how to use one. Once you get the general idea, you'll probably be using bungees, and only bungees, for the rest of your pony tail's life. Especially if your hair is thick and unruly. Bungees don't put up with that type of behavior….and for good reason.
Step one. Pick out the bungee that best matches your hair color. I've seen them in blonde, red, brown and black. I choose blonde!
Step two. Pull your hair up in to the desired pony tail position, hook one side of the bungee into the base of the pony.
Step three. keeping hold of your pony tail, use your other hand to wrap the bungee around the pony tail base as many times as necessary. You'll hold it in place with your stationary hand at each rotation.
Step four. Hook the other end once you've wrapped it as tight as it will go. Your pony is safe and secure for the rest of eternity.
Step five. Flip your pony tail around like a lunatic to prove how secure it is. Dang, that's secure!
Step six. Smile with pride. You've mastered the bungee.
