Hair How-To: Jennifer Aniston’s Polished Premiere Style

Okay, so her movies might not all be winners (did anyone actually see Rumor Has It?), but no one can deny that Jennifer Aniston's red-carpet looks are award-worthy—girlfriend always looks amazing, albeit largely the same at every event. Hey, she knows what works for her. Whether she’s vacationing in Mexico, decorating the nursery for her new twin bundles of joy, or attending the premiere of her latest theatrical effort, she knows how to rock a blowout and a tan. Here she is at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Wanderlust. (We’ve actually heard good things about this one—hopefully even Aniston’s poor track record can’t wreak too much havoc on Judd Apatow's genius.)  But we digress: Want her perfect California-girl style? Here’s how to get it.

1. Start with Shine
Jennifer’s signature hair look is straight, shiny, and all around flawless. Mimic it by blow-drying hair using a nourishing oil treatment, like KeSARI Indian Oil Hair Serum ($31.50, Kesaribeauty.com), to maximize polish and sparkle. Use a flat paddle brush to get straight strands without too much poof or volume, and finish with a spritz of TRESemmé Smooth No Frizz Shine Spray to give a final gloss. Spray a little bit onto your fingers to smooth down flyaways near the crown.

2. Fake a Bake
Jennifer’s known for her devotion to maintaining her beachiness the old-fashioned way—even going so far as to buy tanning beds for her L.A. home—but we can’t stress enough that sunbathing is an emphatic don’t. Why damage your skin, risking cancer and wrinkles, when St. Tropez’s Wash Off Instant Glow Mousse lets you apply a glow the same way you’d apply lotion? The best part—it washes right off, so not only can you see exactly where you’re “tanning,” but you can also be tan today and fair tomorrow.

3. Find Your Perfect Pink
The hottest trend in makeup is products that react with skin’s pH and give users the most unique and personalized shade possible. This March, DuWop is adding Private Pink to its lineup of self-adjusting lipsticks that change according to skin chemistry. Its formula looks different—and equally flattering—on every woman. Plus, it’s full of beeswax and vitamin E to keep lips healthy.
