Pinterested: Hair Chalking at Its Finest

Chalking your hair is super easy and a ton of fun, too. All you really need are soft chalk pastels, water, a shirt you don’t mind getting dirty, and plastic gloves if you don’t want to get your hands messy.

Next, take whichever strand you want to chalk and get it super wet. 

Then pick a color and go to town! Because my hair is dark, I tried to stick with really bright colors like this electric blue. I decided to channel my inner rocker and do a few different colors. Also, I wanted to show you how some colors show up better than others. The blue and green showed up the best while the red and yellow were a little subdued.

Yeah, that’s right … I’m badass. Although next time I’ll stick to just one or two colors, I’m amazed at how bright most of the colors turned out. This trend is definitely fun if you want to switch things up or just rock out for a day or two. Whether you have long or short hair, you can chalk it up to nothing more than good old-fashioned fun.
