Get the Look: Jessica Chastain's SAG Awards Splendor

She may not have won the award for her performance in "Zero Dark Thirty," but Jessica Chastain won our hearts with this gorgeous beauty look, which seems simultaneously simple and complex, modern and retro, fresh-faced and glammed-up. We don’t know how she does it.

Scratch that—we do know. Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle shared the details on how he created her makeup look, using products from Lancôme, YSL, and Giorgio Armani Beauty.
Buckle complemented her red-hair-on-red-dress look with dusky lips and defined eyes. He started with YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Illuminating Foundation $22, and then added new Lancôme Blush, $49, in coral-peach Peche Joue-Joue to the apples of Chastain’s cheeks.
On her eyes, Buckle started with Giorgio Armani Eye Brow Defining Pencil, $29, to give her thin brows shade and definition. Then he used Lancôme Color Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow, $19, in Filigree over the lid, following up by blending the shadow in Snap into the crease for depth.  He created a modified mod cat eye by thickly lining the upper lid with Lancôme Liner Design Gel EyeLiner in Black Fishnets, $24 , winging the liner out at the edges. The look is finished with Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara, $28, which has a dual-ended brush for ultimate lengthening, curling, and thickening.
On the lips Buckle applied YSL Rouge Volupte Shine, $34, in Rouge in Danger, a warm, mauvey rose shade.
